BBQ is expanding its presence in India, the world's most populous country, extending its influence from East Asia and Southeast Asia to the South Asian market.
Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 6th that it has signed a Master Franchise (MF) agreement with India's Baramati Agro Group to officially enter the Indian market.
Baramati Agro Group, established in 1988, is a leading agricultural and poultry processing company in India, owning an annual capacity of 32.4 million poultry for processing. It is also a global company actively engaged in various sectors including sugar production plants, wholesale and retail businesses, and agricultural food exports.
BBQ plans to carry out various businesses based on Baramati Agro Group's stable supply of raw materials and infrastructure equipped with a logistics system capable of distribution throughout India.

A BBQ official stated, "India is the world's most populous country with a large young population, making it a country where the dining-out industry is rapidly growing," adding, "We will expand 'K-Food' across the entire Asian market by expanding into South Asian markets such as India, as well as East Asia and Southeast Asia."
