View original imagePocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 4th that it will hold a naming contest for the Youth Employment and Startup Center until the 14th.
The Pocheon Youth Employment and Startup Center is a space established on the first floor of the Youth Vision Center (1423 Hoguk-ro, Pocheon-si) to support youth employment and entrepreneurship. It includes three office spaces, a cafe, and a shared lounge.
Anyone can participate in the contest. Applicants should refer to the announcement section on the Pocheon City Hall website, fill out the application form, and submit it via email.
Afterward, the city will select 10 names through a first round of internal screening, then conduct a preference survey and a judging committee review to decide the final name.
The grand prize (1 winner) is 500,000 KRW, and the excellence prize (1 winner) is 200,000 KRW. Additionally, 20 participants will be selected by lottery to receive a participation prize of a gifticon worth approximately 10,000 KRW.
A Pocheon city official said, "We hope that this contest will produce an original name that well reflects the character of the Youth Employment and Startup Center," and added, "We look forward to your active interest and participation."
