Kyobo Securities Collaborates with Seoul National University KDT Program on 'Capstone Project'
Kyobo Securities announced on the 4th that it will participate in the 'Capstone Project' of Seoul National University's KDT (K-Digital Training) education program.
The 'Capstone Project,' organized by the Big Data Research Institute of Seoul National University, is an industry-academia cooperation program aimed at nurturing convergent data science experts by combining the latest data analysis techniques with domain knowledge.
Kyobo Securities plans to develop a 'Bond Credit Spread Prediction Model' in this project. This model aims to predict credit spreads three months ahead based on the macro market environment and quantitative financial information of individual companies.
Through this industry-academia collaboration, the company intends to contribute to the cultivation of core digital talents and lead the digital transformation of the financial industry by developing innovative investment solutions applying the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technologies in the financial sector.
