Linked with Letter Writing Education Program... Fostering Proper Character and Correct Use of Korean Language
On the 28th of last month, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and Busan Regional Post Office, which signed an agreement to operate a letter-writing education program, are accelerating their collaborative project.
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 4th that starting next year, it plans to run a contest titled "Express Your Heart with a Stamp I Made" targeting all elementary schools in the region.
This initiative began from discussions between the two organizations' working-level staff on operating the letter-writing education program, with the idea to maximize the educational effect by actually sending letters. The intention is to add meaning by delivering letters expressing gratitude through the mail.
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will operate a contest where schools or individuals design stamps reflecting their personality or cherished moments and memories, and Busan Regional Post Office agreed to support the production of the designed stamps.
The two organizations decided to establish detailed plans regarding the contest period and the number of stamps to be produced through further consultations among working-level staff.
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education expects that holding this contest linked to the letter-writing education program will foster students' creativity and have a significant synergistic effect on writing Korean correctly.
