'Drug-Free Future' Campaign Featuring Jeon Hyun-moo
Anonymous Drug Testing and Counseling Centered in Gangnam and Hongdae
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is conducting a drug prevention campaign in collaboration with the National Intelligence Service. In particular, anonymous drug testing and counseling will be provided mainly in areas frequented by young generations, such as Gangnam and Hongdae.
According to Seoul City on the 4th, a video campaign featuring famous broadcasters will continue until the end of this year to raise awareness about drugs among young people and other citizens. The video campaign titled "A Future Without Drugs, Let's Create It Together," made possible by the talent donation of 11 broadcasters, has released videos featuring Kang Ho-dong and Seo Jang-hoon on Seoul City's YouTube channel. Videos of Jeon Hyun-moo, Hwang Je-seong, Kwak Tube, Jang Young-ran, Moon Se-yoon, Han Seok-jun, and Jang Ye-won will also be released this month.
New videos are released weekly through Seoul City's YouTube channel and delivered to citizens via various channels such as the outdoor electronic display board at the city hall, subways, and 100 public facility monitors.
Starting from the 4th, videos will be broadcast continuously on 100 public institutions and facilities including the outdoor electronic display board at Seoul City Hall, subway media boards, SH Corporation, Seoul Medical Center, and Seoul Business Agency to promote the drug prevention campaign. Seoul City, the National Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the Drug Eradication Movement Headquarters are also conducting SNS promotions together.
Additionally, focusing on areas frequently visited by young people such as Gangnam, Hongdae, and Myeongdong, the campaign will continue to promote anonymous drug testing, counseling, and treatment services to ensure that anyone can easily receive help. Since August, drug prevention posters and information about "Counseling-Testing-Treatment·Rehabilitation-Integrated Services" have been displayed on outdoor electronic boards in Gangnam and other locations. Posters have been attached to 3,800 locations including subway stations, inside subway cars, bus stops, and signboards, and anonymous drug testing (from May to June) has been promoted in convenience stores and inside subway cars.
