Anseong-si Opens Applications for Next Year's Organic Fertilizer Support Program
Differential Support of 1,300 to 1,600 Won per Pack
On the 29th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it is accepting applications for the '2025 Organic Fertilizer Support Project' to establish environmentally friendly natural circulation agriculture and support the production of high-quality and safe agricultural products.
Eligibility for application is limited to farmers registered as agricultural management entities under the 'Act on the Promotion and Support of Agricultural and Fishery Management Entities,' and applications can only be made for farmland registered under the applicant's agricultural management entity. The application period is from November 11 to December 10.
Farmers wishing to receive support should submit a project application form, including the desired supplier, fertilizer type, and quantity, to the administrative welfare center with jurisdiction over the location of the farmland.
The supported organic fertilizers include mixed oil cake, mixed organic fertilizers, organic compound fertilizers, as well as matured organic fertilizers such as livestock manure compost and compost. Support varies from 1,300 KRW to 1,600 KRW per 20kg bag depending on the fertilizer type and grade. The city plans to provide an additional 300 KRW per bag for matured organic fertilizers produced within the city to promote the collection of livestock manure from local livestock farms and reduce farmers' management costs.
