Baek Young-hyun, Pocheon Mayor, Encourages Night School Field Trip for Disabled under 'Opening a New Day Together'
On the 22nd, Baek Young-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon, visited the site where students of the disabled night school at Pocheon Nanum House Disabled Independent Living Center "Together Opening a New Day" were departing for an experiential learning trip to Sokcho, Gangwon Province, to offer encouragement.

This experiential learning trip was arranged with budget support from Pocheon City following the opening of the ‘Together Opening a New Day’ night school for the disabled in September of last year.
About 70 people participated in the trip, including students from the school for the disabled, activity instructors, and school officials. The 3-day, 2-night program was designed to explore the culture of Sokcho City, including visits to museums and expos.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “The Together Opening a New Day night school for the disabled is a lifelong education facility in the form of a school and a lifelong education facility for the disabled. I hope the students can relieve the fatigue and tension accumulated in daily life through this experiential learning and spend time recharging in nature.” He added, “Pocheon City will continue to provide quality educational opportunities for people with disabilities.”
