This event was organized by TIPA to facilitate technology exchange with Germany, a leading country in future car technology, aiming for the successful digital transformation of the domestic automobile and parts industry. As part of the Korea-Germany cooperation forum regularization project, which is a key agenda item of the Korea-Germany Corporate Support Council, it has been held continuously for three years, greatly aiding technology exchange and overseas expansion for SMEs.
The event features programs such as a technology seminar themed "Future Hydrogen Mobility Industry Activation Strategy for Eco-friendly Energy Transition" and a business-to-business (B2B) matching consultation.
The technology seminar consists of a keynote speech by Research Fellow Ji-Young Park from the Korea Transport Institute, presentations by hydrogen technology experts from both countries, and an on-site Q&A session.
During the matching consultation, pre-registered and matched domestic small and venture companies will discuss cooperation plans with major German future car companies such as Volkswagen and Continental through one-on-one online and offline consultations.
TIPA expects this event to have effects such as revitalizing the domestic hydrogen mobility industry through cooperation between domestic SMEs and Germany, and laying the groundwork for entry into the European market.
Kim Young-shin, President of TIPA, stated, "Taking this event as an opportunity, we will establish a platform for technology exchange and cooperation in the future car sector between Korea and Germany, and expand support for global expansion and technology cooperation for domestic small and venture companies with excellent technology," adding, "We also plan to strengthen the role of public-private cooperation and communication in the future car sector in collaboration with the Smart Car Future Forum."
