Coway Conducts Anyangcheon River Plogging to Clean Up Local Community Environment
Coway Employees and Geumcheon Residents Participate Together
Coway announced on the 21st that it conducted a Anyangcheon River Plogging activity to help clean the local community environment.
About 60 Coway employees and Geumcheon-gu resident family volunteers participated in the activity held on the 19th. The participants walked 1.8 km along the Anyangcheon area, including the Anyangcheon Multipurpose Plaza and Geumcheon Hangyo Bridge, collecting 55 kg of trash such as discarded cigarette butts, plastic bottles, beverage cans, and bags.
Coway employees and the Geumcheon-gu volunteer group are conducting a river plogging volunteer activity.
View original imageCoway added fun to the volunteer activity by preparing goods and a food truck featuring the 'Kungya Restaurants' character. Plogging goods were given to all volunteers, and snacks and warm drinks were provided at the food truck in exchange for the trash collected during the river plogging.
Coway is conducting a River Plogging Challenge through its internal online community to encourage employees to participate in environmental protection. Participants can collect trash anywhere and verify their participation with photos.
