A woman in India has become a hot topic for single-handedly stopping a trio of robbers. The woman reportedly blocked the robbers trying to break in with her body and then called the police.
According to recent reports from local media such as The Tribune India, the incident took place at a residence in Punjab, a state in western India. The three masked robbers who attempted to break into the house in broad daylight were thwarted by just one woman.

View original imageOn the day of the incident, the victim, Mandup Kaur, was drying laundry on the terrace when she noticed the perpetrators lurking outside the door, seemingly trying to break in. The three masked men jumped over the fence and tried to enter the house, but Kaur quickly went downstairs and blocked the front door with her body. At that time, Kaur was alone in the house.
The tense situation was captured on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) installed inside the house. When the three robbers tried to open the door from outside, Kaur screamed and blocked the door with her entire body. Although she was pushed, she held off the robbers until she managed to close the door and latch it. She then dragged a sofa to barricade the door, went to the window, and shouted loudly for help.
This video spread across social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), drawing reactions of amazement from netizens worldwide. Comments included, "It's amazing that she stopped three men alone," "This woman's courage moved me," "I truly respect how she faced adversity alone without giving up," and "There is no limit to the courage to protect family and property."
