Uijeongbu City Hall Tennis Team's Jeong Yeongseok, 3rd Place in Fuzhou International Tennis Men's Doubles
Uijeongbu City (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 7th that Jung Young-seok, a player belonging to the city hall workplace sports tennis team (coach Kim Hyun-seung), achieved 3rd place in men's doubles at the international tennis tour held in Fuzhou, China.
Jung Young-seok teamed up with Park Ui-seong from Daegu City Hall to secure 3rd place in men's doubles at the tournament held from the 22nd to the 29th of last month at the Olympic Tennis Center in Fuzhou, China.
Jung Young-seok said, "I am happy to achieve a good result in an overseas competition with Park Ui-seong after a long time. I am grateful to the coach and Uijeongbu City Hall for always supporting us to train in a good environment," and added, "I will continue to do my best to achieve good results in domestic and international competitions."
Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, "I applaud our city’s tennis team players who gave their best in this tournament," and said, "We will continue to support the tennis team so that they can demonstrate their best skills."
