Ulsan City to Address Complaints in Newly Built Apartment Complexes... On-Site Administrative Services
Inspection of Preparations for Use Approval at 28 Sites
Ulsan City will conduct the "On-site Apartment Administrative Service" to inspect preparations for occupancy inspections at apartment construction sites from October 7 to 18.
This initiative has been implemented since 2023 to prevent potential damages such as restrictions on residents' property rights that may occur if local apartment construction sites fail to establish necessary infrastructure or comply with project approval conditions.
This inspection will be carried out by a joint inspection team of 12 members from the city and district offices, targeting 28 sites where construction is currently underway among those with approved housing construction project plans.
The main inspection items include: ▲ Establishment of infrastructure and fulfillment of project approval conditions ▲ Preparation for changes in project approval due to design modifications ▲ Status of civil complaint handling, among others.
Any deficiencies identified during the inspection will be promptly addressed through direct coordination with relevant departments to ensure that the move-in schedule is not delayed.
An Ulsan City official stated, "We will do our utmost in the inspection to minimize damages to residents, such as delays in move-in dates, caused by failure to comply with apartment project approval conditions or omissions in administrative procedures."
Last year, the city inspected all 18 project sites and achieved results by providing a total of 39 administrative services, including 12 cases of infrastructure establishment, 20 cases of compliance with approval conditions, and 7 cases of civil complaint guidance.
