Good Job(Guro), Grow with GURO!...Guro-gu Hosts 'Online and Offline Job Fair'
Opportunity to Meet Outstanding Companies Online from October 16 to November 6 and Offline on October 30
On-site Interviews for Hiring and Various Job Information and Support Booths Available
Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) will hold an 'Online and Offline Job Fair' to provide various job-seeking and recruitment opportunities for job seekers hoping to find employment and 100 recruiting companies.
The district announced that in order for residents to access diverse job information without being restricted by time and place, the event will be operated both offline and online.
The 'Offline Job Fair' will begin on the 30th of this month at 1:30 PM in the Grand Ballroom on the 11th floor of Sindorim Technomart with a 'Job Declaration Ceremony' to share the commitment to achieving the 2024 job creation goals and the vision of Guro-gu's job policies, followed by an 'Excellent Company Certification Ceremony' awarding certificates and plaques to small and medium-sized enterprises with an employment growth rate of over 10% in the past two years.
The main event, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, will feature 30 excellent companies with recruitment plans participating, with a total of 41 booths (including recruitment booths, institution promotion booths, and side event booths) being operated.
The significance is greater as interviews between job seekers and recruiting companies will be conducted on-site, potentially leading to immediate hiring. Additionally, a special booth for middle-aged job seekers operated by the Middle-aged Dream Center will also be available to support their job search activities.
Along with this, institution promotion booths providing job counseling, vocational psychological tests, and recruitment information, as well as side event booths offering resume photo shoots, personal color diagnosis, and image coaching, have been prepared.
Furthermore, from the 16th of this month to the 6th of next month, an 'Online Job Fair' will be held with the participation of 70 recruiting companies. Job seekers can search for recruiting companies on the online recruitment site, apply online, and receive employment support services such as employment content and mock interview consulting.
Any job seeker wishing to participate in the fair can pre-register on the Guro-gu Office website or the Job Support Division, or participate by filling out a job application form at the event venue on the day of the event.
A Guro-gu official stated, "Since this fair will be operated both offline and online, it will greatly help residents in their job search activities," and added, "We hope for the active interest and participation of job seekers."
