Gyeonggi Office of Education Completes 'Safety and Health Training' for 1,700 Supervisors Including School Principals
Safety and Health Education for Supervisors Managed by Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education
View original imageThe Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has completed a six-month safety and health training program for supervisors.
The Office announced on the 2nd that from April to October, it conducted the "Supervisor Safety and Health Training" under the Industrial Safety and Health Act for school principals and heads of affiliated institutions within the province. Supervisors include school principals and heads of affiliated institutions.
The training was divided into 10 sessions and held regionally at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's northern and southern offices, Gyeonggi Science High School, and other locations. A total of about 1,700 supervisors completed the training.
The main training topics included ▲ industrial safety and accident prevention ▲ roles and duties of supervisors ▲ industrial health and prevention of occupational diseases ▲ emergency measures in case of emergencies or disasters.
In particular, the training focused on field-oriented education through professional instructors and strengthening supervisors' job competencies in safety and health management.

Baek Young-hwan, Director of School Safety at the Office of Education, said, "We hope this training will serve as an opportunity to deepen interest in safety," and added, "We will continue to do our best to prevent industrial accidents."
