Icheon-si Provides 20% Consumer Support Fund for Using Local Currency
100 Million Won Budgeted... Up to 30,000 Won Per Person Limit
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City will provide a 20% consumption support fund on the amount spent to users of the local currency 'Gyeonggi Icheon Sarang' starting from the 1st of next month to help recover the local economy.
Accordingly, consumers who pay with the Icheon Sarang local currency card will receive 20% of the payment amount as real-time reward points. The payment limit per person is 30,000 KRW. The awarded reward points will be automatically deducted first during the next payment. The validity period of the reward points is 2 months from the date of issuance.
This consumption support fund is worth a total of 1 billion KRW, and payments will end once the budget is exhausted. However, policy allowances such as Youth Basic Income are not eligible for the consumption support fund. For more details, please contact the Icheon City Job Policy Division.
