On the 15th, the Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that North Korea is once again releasing balloons carrying trash toward South Korea.
The Joint Chiefs stated, "Depending on changes in wind direction, the balloons may move to the northern Gyeonggi region and the Seoul metropolitan area," and urged caution regarding their descent.
They requested that if any fallen balloons are found, people should immediately report them to the military or police.
