The 'Regional Specialized Content Development Support' project is a program that supports the production of content utilizing unique local attractions, figures, and historical materials.
Last year, the agency supported the production of four different contents. The immersive content on Daejeon's prehistoric culture is currently being screened at the Daejeon Prehistory Museum to great acclaim. Through this support project, the agency achieved results such as creating 24 jobs and generating sales of 780 million KRW.
Lee Eunhak, the president of the agency, said, "Among the 16 cultural content development institutions nationwide, only Daejeon and Gyeongnam have all K-content infrastructure such as a global game center, esports stadium, and music creation studio," adding, "We will strive to ensure that content created in Daejeon becomes excellent content recognized worldwide."
