Advisor Ki-Min Lee is a next-generation researcher who has published numerous papers and hosted workshops at the world's top AI conferences, including the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML), Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS), and International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR). After earning his Ph.D. under the guidance of Professor Jin-Woo Shin at KAIST, he completed his postdoctoral research in the lab of Professor Peter Abbeel at UC Berkeley, a leading authority in AI reinforcement learning. He then worked as a research scientist at Google Research and is currently an associate professor at the KAIST Graduate School of AI under Professor Jae-Cheol Kim.

With this advisor appointment, Coxwave plans to strengthen the safety of its AI product analysis platform, "Align AI," and take the lead in creating a safe AI ecosystem. Professor Lee has continuously researched Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), a method where humans provide feedback to AI models when they produce incorrect outputs to improve learning. This research approach will be applied to "Align AI" to identify major risks and misuse cases that AI systems may encounter and to address vulnerabilities in AI models.

Advisor Ki-Min Lee said, "As discussions on AI safety become more active, I decided to join Coxwave because I resonate with the company's business direction and values, which aim not only to conduct research and discussions but also to apply them to provide better products. I will contribute to research and product development so that all companies and consumers can use AI products with confidence."
