This agreement was promoted to revitalize Pyeongtaek Port and expand business opportunities for logistics companies in Gyeonggi Province by strengthening mutual cooperation.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate in various areas including ▲promotion of Pyeongtaek Port usage ▲mutual cooperation to increase cargo volume at Pyeongtaek Port ▲support for promotion of Pyeongtaek Port usage.
Kim Seok-gu, President of Pyeongtaek Port Authority, emphasized, "I hope this memorandum of understanding will establish a closer relationship with the association," and added, "We will do our best to ensure smooth use of Pyeongtaek Port services by the association's members."
Won Je-cheol, Chairman of the Korea International Logistics Association, stated, "Pyeongtaek Port is adjacent to China and is considered a port that can play a pivotal role in logistics in the metropolitan area," and added, "We look forward to collaboration in industrial development such as logistics network support policies and training of logistics personnel."
