The uncertainty caused by the slowdown in electric vehicle demand appears to be affecting the stock prices of secondary battery companies. Ian Na, a researcher at Yuanta Securities, said, "As the global electric vehicle demand slowdown continues, there is high uncertainty regarding the timing of the performance improvement of secondary battery companies," adding, "Until 2023, valuation applied earnings estimates two years ahead, but now, due to the continued demand slowdown, concerns are rising over the possibility of companies reducing planned production capacity and further decreases in the utilization rate of existing production capacity."
