Ozone Warning Lifted After 3 Hours in Three Northwestern Districts of Seoul
The ozone advisory issued for three districts in the northwest area of Seoul was lifted at 6 p.m. on the 8th, three hours after it was announced, according to the Korea Environment Corporation under the Ministry of Environment.
The affected districts are Eunpyeong-gu, Seodaemun-gu, and Mapo-gu.
The hourly average ozone concentration in the lifted areas was 0.1021 ppm (parts per million) as of 6 p.m.
An ozone advisory is issued when the 1-hour average ozone (O₃) concentration in the air reaches 0.12 ppm or higher, an ozone alert at 0.30 ppm or higher, and an ozone severe alert at 0.50 ppm or higher.
