Sales were conducted through online shopping malls entering the Vietnamese market such as Shopee and Gmarket Global.
For Vietnamese customers interested in K-beauty, events such as digital nail art, photo booths, and lucky draws were prepared, attracting about 4,600 participants. A makeup show using color cosmetics from companies participating in the Donghaeng Festival was held for local influencers, with 6,500 people joining the live broadcast in real time.
A visitor, Tu Nguyen, said, “I usually have an interest in K-beauty, so I looked at skincare and baby products,” adding, “It’s good to be able to see various products at a glance at the pop-up store, and the prices are not too expensive, so it seems good for purchasing.”
From the 29th of last month to the 4th, a promotional event was held inside and outside Lotte Mart on the basement first floor of Lotte Mall, operating participatory spaces such as tasting K-food like tteokbokki and gimbap and product experiences, which received great responses.
