Dongducheon-si Selected for Excellence in 'Good Design Award'
Certificate of Excellence in Brand Design at the Good Design Award, Dongducheon City.
Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 6th that its city character 'Didi-ssi' and brand (BI) design were selected as excellent designs in the brand design category of the 2024 Good Design Award.
Didi-ssi is a character symbolizing the hopes and aspirations of Dongducheon citizens.
To commemorate this award, Dongducheon City plans to distribute Didi-ssi character emoticons to citizens for free in October.

A Dongducheon City official stated, "We are very honored that Didi-ssi, the symbol of our city, and the BI design were recognized at the Good Design Award," adding, "We will use this award as an opportunity to widely promote Dongducheon's identity and create opportunities for communication with our citizens."
