Korail to Hire 630 New Employees in the Second Half of This Year
Korea Railroad Corporation (hereinafter Korail) will hire 630 new employees in the second half of this year.
Korail announced on the 29th that applications for new employees will be accepted from the 9th to the 11th of next month. Applications can only be submitted online through the Korail website.
New employees will be selected through various recruitment processes including 147 positions for open competition, 217 positions for certificate-restricted competition, and 266 positions for socially equitable recruitment.
The number of hires by job category is 118 for office sales, 174 for driving, 100 for vehicles, 70 for civil engineering, 58 for architecture, and 110 for electrical and telecommunications.
After the application submission, Korail will select successful candidates through document screening, written exams, practical tests, and interviews. Successful candidates will undergo a hiring-type internship of more than one month, and upon passing a separate evaluation, will be appointed as regular employees.
The successful candidates will be announced after 2 p.m. on November 15. Details of the separate evaluation plan will be notified to the successful candidates later.
