Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) will specially issue 15 billion KRW worth of Itaewon Commercial District Recovery Gift Certificates next month on the 9th to revitalize the local economy near Itaewon.
The certificates will be sold in units of 10,000 KRW and can be purchased at a 10% discounted price. The validity period for using the gift certificates is one year from the date of issuance.
The Itaewon Commercial District Recovery Gift Certificates are mobile gift certificates that can be used like cash at Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate affiliated stores in the Itaewon commercial district. The maximum purchase limit per person is 700,000 KRW per month, and the holding limit is 1,500,000 KRW. They can be used at about 2,500 Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate affiliated stores located in Yongsan 2-ga-dong, Itaewon 1·2-dong, Hannam-dong, Seobinggo-dong, and Bogwang-dong, including academies, restaurants, hospitals, pharmacies, convenience stores, etc. The list of usage locations can be checked on the district office website.
