Opening of Fall Semester at Jungnang-gu Lifelong Learning Center
539 Participants Accepted on a First-Come, First-Served Basis from the 28th to 30th
Various Programs Including Art and Craft, Humanities, and Lifestyle Courses Offered
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) is launching the fall semester programs at the Lifelong Learning Center.
The fall semester courses, running from September 19 to December 4, consist of a total of 22 diverse lifelong education programs that actively reflect the learning demands of residents, including art and crafts, humanities and general knowledge, and lifestyle hobbies.
The main courses include ▲ art and crafts such as portrait drawing, calligraphy, Zentangle, and botanical art offered in beginner and intermediate levels ▲ humanities and general knowledge courses such as Italian city travel, drones, pop song classes, and SNS content creation ▲ trendy lifestyle programs such as urban sketching in our neighborhood and learning AI artificial intelligence through movies.
Any Jungnang-gu resident can enroll, with a total of 539 spots available. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis through the Jungnang-gu Lifelong Learning Center website from the 28th to the 30th. The tuition fee is 20,000 KRW for 10-session courses and 10,000 KRW for 5-session courses, with additional costs for textbooks and materials.
Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi of Jungnang-gu said, “We have established a variety of rich programs so that residents can learn in fields they have been interested in.” He added, “We will continue to do our best to expand hands-on experiential education opportunities and improve the diversity and quality of lifelong education programs in Jungnang-gu.”

In addition to the regular fall semester courses, the Jungnang-gu Lifelong Learning Center plans to offer weekend and evening classes for residents who find it difficult to attend weekday programs, as well as special courses on various topics.
