Gyeonggi-do Icheon City operates a 'Nighttime Smoking Cessation Clinic' for office workers and local residents.
The Nighttime Smoking Cessation Clinic is held at the Icheon City Public Health Center from 6 p.m. for two hours on the first Wednesday of every month. Those who register for the smoking cessation clinic can receive personalized one-on-one smoking cessation counseling for six months, along with smoking cessation aids and items to reinforce smoking cessation behavior (such as gum and candy). Additionally, those who successfully quit smoking for six months, verified through carbon monoxide tests or cotinine measurements, will receive a small commemorative gift.
