Arrest Warrant Requested for 30-Year-Old Son Who Strangled Mother to Death
The police have applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 30s suspected of strangling his mother to death.
On the 23rd, the Dongjak Police Station in Seoul announced that they had applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A on charges of parricide.
Mr. A is suspected of strangling his mother, Ms. B, to death at an apartment in Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, at around 2:20 a.m. on the 21st.
The police responded to a report from Ms. B. She received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the scene and was transported to a hospital but ultimately passed away.
It was investigated that Mr. A had been suffering from depression.
