Asia Economy will hold the '2024 Global Wine & Food Trip' for two days from the 23rd at Sebitseom Floating Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Marking its third year, the Global Wine & Food Trip will feature major domestic wine importers and food companies, providing an opportunity to taste various regional wines and enjoy food pairings.

Allbin Wine will showcase wines from Portuguese wineries such as Jose Maria da Fonseca and Aveleda at this event.

Jose Maria da Fonseca is a family-run winery established in 1834 in the Setubal region south of Lisbon, Portugal, and has been passed down through seven generations. It currently owns vineyards spanning a total of 650 hectares and exports grapes to more than 70 countries worldwide. It has also been selected as 'Winery of the Year' more than six times by the global wine magazine 'Wine & Spirits.'

Smooth and Rich Rhime-Scented Wine... Portugal's 'Josemaria da Fonseca'

The Privada wine from Jose Maria da Fonseca introduced by Allbin Wine undergoes a process where fermentation is stopped by adding cognac to the Muscatel grape variety to adjust the alcohol content. It has a bright amber color with aromas of orange, honey, and lime. The taste is smooth and full-bodied, with notes of dried mango, coffee, chocolate, and nuts. It pairs well with appetizers and various desserts.

Aveleda is also a representative Portuguese winery with a history of over 150 years. The Ponte Vinho Verde wine from Aveleda sold by Allbin Wine is made from the Loureiro grape variety, along with Arinto, Trajadura, and Fern?o Pires. It has a clear, pale yellow color with crisp green apple and lime aromas. The taste is fresh, light, and refreshing. It pairs well with white fish, vegetables, chicken dishes, and vegetable curry.
