View original imageAt around 10:25 p.m. on the 20th, a chain collision involving four vehicles occurred on the road toward Busan near Gwanpo Intersection in Jangmok-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Geoje Police Station and the Gyeongnam Fire Department, the accident site is a two-lane expressway leading to the Geoga Bridge, with a speed limit of 80 km/h.
The accident occurred when a sedan driven by a foreign man in his 20s, referred to as A, was traveling in the first lane and crashed into the vehicle ahead, driven by a foreign man in his 30s, referred to as B.
Due to the impact, A's vehicle overturned, and a sedan driven by a man in his 50s, referred to as C, collided with the overturned car. Then, an intercity bus driven by a man in his 40s, also referred to as C, crashed into C's sedan.
All four drivers were injured in the accident and received treatment at the scene or were transported to the hospital. Among them, A, who was in the overturned vehicle, sustained serious injuries.
Three passengers in their 20s, both men and women, who were on the bus, suffered minor injuries and received hospital treatment.
The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident based on footage from the vehicle's black boxes and statements from those involved.
