Through the administrative council, the four counties agreed to strengthen joint efforts for mutual development by: ▲ sharing strategies and progress for addressing local extinction and increasing population ▲ preparing joint measures for key issues such as jobs, housing, healthcare, and welfare ▲ discovering and cooperating on inter-county collaborative projects, and sharing information.
Representative Shin expressed his strong commitment to securing national and special grants to resolve key projects in the four counties.
Last July, Representative Shin secured 6.9 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for 11 projects, including reservoir maintenance, construction of lifelong learning centers, and improvement of gymnasium environments, to address regional issues and disaster safety such as the climate crisis in the four western Gyeongnam counties, thereby resolving long-standing projects for the counties.
