Uljugun and Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology to Train Female 3D Printing Specialists
Ulsan Ulju-gun announced on the 19th that it will collaborate with Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST, President Park Jongrae) to foster female professionals in 3D printing.
Previously, on the 14th, Ulju-gun signed a business agreement with Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology and the Ulju-gun Women's New Employment Center for the "Learn and Get Employed Immediately with 3D Printing" training program, agreeing to actively cooperate in nurturing female professionals and solving the recruitment difficulties of companies utilizing 3D printing.
The 3D printing training will be held three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for four hours a day at the UNIST 3D Printing Convergence Technology Center from next month until November.
The Ulju-gun Women's New Employment Center was newly designated in May this year as a project by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It is scheduled to open on the 27th within the Ulju-gun Family Center.
This center provides comprehensive employment support services for women whose careers have been interrupted due to pregnancy, childcare, and similar reasons.
Main projects include vocational education and training, the New Employment Women Internship Program, discovering companies seeking female employees and connecting them with female job seekers, and post-employment management for both employed women and hiring companies.
This year, two vocational training programs have been organized: the "3D Printing Course" and the "Caregiver Practical Training Course."
Women with career interruptions or those who are unemployed and wish to participate can contact the Ulju-gun New Employment Center or the Ulju-gun Women and Family Division.
