Wadiz Surpasses 70,000 Cumulative Funding Intermediations
Mediating 10,000 Funding Projects in Just 6 Months This Year
Crowdfunding platform Wadiz recently announced on the 14th that it has surpassed a cumulative total of 70,000 projects.
Since the official launch of the funding service in 2014, it took 5 years and 7 months to reach 10,000 projects, but then only 2 years and 9 months to reach 50,000 projects, and 7 months to reach 60,000 projects. Notably, the number of fundings on Wadiz in the first half of this year increased by 36% compared to the same period last year, reaching 10,990 projects, achieving the milestone of 70,000 cumulative fundings in just half a year.
The cumulative transaction amount has exceeded 1.2 trillion KRW.
Wadiz Store, which allows continuous purchase of successful funding products, reached 5,000 stores in the first half of this year, doubling compared to the same period last year. The increase in store products led to a rise in payment amounts, with store sales in the first half of this year increasing by 21% compared to the same period last year.
