LG Uplus "Try Taking AI Profile Photos"... Media Event Experience Center
Introduction to In-House Developed AI Ixi
Photo Booth & Prompt Experience
LG Uplus will set up an experience zone introducing its self-developed artificial intelligence (AI) 'ixi' at the '2024 Creator Media Industry Expo in Incheon,' held over two days on the 9th and 10th at Songdo Convensia.
The Creator Media Industry Expo is a representative event for the domestic creator media industry, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Incheon City, and organized by the Korea Radio Promotion Association and Incheon Technopark.
LG Uplus has prepared the ixi experience zone consisting of two campaigns: ▲'ixi Photo Booth,' which allows users to create AI profile photos from just one photo taken on-site, and ▲'ixi Prompt,' where customers can input AI prompts (generative AI commands) themselves to create smartphone wallpapers.
First, at the ixi Photo Booth, users can experience AI profile photos in four concepts: basic profile, two types of athletes, and celebrities on the red carpet. The system transforms a single photo taken by the customer into the concept style and instantly prints the photo.
An AI prompt outdoor advertisement at a bus shelter near Seoul was also unveiled. Customers scan a QR code with their smartphones to access the AI prompt website, where they fill in blanks describing a futuristic city as prompts, and the system creates a futuristic city wallpaper matching the prompt.
Forty-eight members of LG Uplus's creator community 'Boosters' were also invited. They are provided with an exclusive waiting room for networking with various creators. LG Uplus plans to select five teams to support their participation in a rookie creator showcase.
