Fire Breaks Out in Electric Car While Parked in Geumsan; No Casualties Reported
Recently, following a fire that broke out in an electric vehicle parked in an apartment parking lot in Incheon, another electric vehicle caught fire while parked in Geumsan, South Chungcheong Province.
According to police and fire authorities on the 6th, a report was received around 5 a.m. that a car parked in a parking tower in Geumsan had caught fire.
The fire department, which responded to the report, extinguished the fire in 1 hour and 37 minutes, and fortunately, there were no casualties.
The police and fire authorities believe the fire started after smoke was seen coming from the lower battery of the electric vehicle, and they plan to conduct a joint inspection later today.
