Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced on the 2nd that it delivered relief supplies to its sister cities, Iksan-si in Jeonbuk and Buyeo-gun in Chungnam, which suffered flood damage from the heavy rains last month.
Iksan-si and Buyeo-gun were declared special disaster areas for heavy rain damage on the 25th of last month due to massive human and material damage caused by landslides, river embankment collapses, and flooding of houses and farmland from the continuous heavy rains since early July.
