In the case of relocation, if the child under 36 months old as of the moving-in date and the mother or father have resident registration and reside in the county at the time of application, they can receive the incentive.
Applications can be made by visiting the local town or township office with an ID card. To receive the support fund, applications must be submitted within 90 days from the date of birth or relocation registration.
Cheongdo-gun stated, "The ordinance was revised to reduce the economic burden on families with newborns and to foster a healthy childbirth culture." Kim Hasu, the mayor of Cheongdo-gun, said, "There is a saying that it takes a whole village to raise a child," adding, "We will make Cheongdo-gun a great place to raise children."
