Dongjak-gu "Secures 2.1 Billion Won in Special Grants through Active Public Official Administration"

Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) announced on the 2nd that it has secured 2.1 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to support local fiscal and disaster safety demands.
The district explained, "We have secured funds that far exceed the average grant amount of 1.4 billion KRW for Seoul's autonomous districts, which will accelerate the promotion of local projects."
The special grants secured this time include 700 million KRW for the Hyeonchung Park Complex Cultural Space Project, 400 million KRW for the Dohwa Park Renovation Project, 400 million KRW for the Kamangdol Library Multipurpose Performance Hall Project, and 500 million KRW for the installation and performance improvement of CCTV for a crime-safe Dongjak City, totaling 2 billion KRW for four projects, as well as 120 million KRW for three occasional grant projects such as providing preventive supplies for vulnerable groups against heatwaves.

Mayor Park Il-ha said, "This special grant is the result of our public officials' proactive efforts through consultations with central government ministries," adding, "We will continue to do our best to secure external funding so that various projects directly related to residents' lives can continue."
