70s Found Dead at Miryang Pool ... Police Investigating
On July 31, a man in his 70s was found dead at a pool in Eoreumgol, Sannae-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, and police are currently investigating the case.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Department, a report was received at around 12:20 p.m. that day stating, "A person has collapsed in the pool."
Mr. A, who was found without consciousness, breathing, or a pulse, was urgently transported to a nearby hospital by the responding fire authorities, but was ultimately pronounced dead.
The depth of the pool where the accident occurred was reportedly about knee-high for an adult.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the death based on statements from Mr. A's family, who said they saw him having lunch around noon but lost sight of him 5 to 10 minutes later.
