Ibona (43, Busan City Hall) and Kang Ji-eun (33, KT) finished their competition without advancing to the women's trap final at the 2024 Paris Olympic shooting event.

On the 31st (local time), Ibona finished 24th in the women's trap qualification round on the second day of the competition held at the Ch?teauroux Shooting Center in France.
The trap qualification consists of shooting at 75 targets on the first day and 50 targets on the second day, conducted over two days. The top six shooters with the highest combined number of hits over the two days advance to the final.
Having hit 69 out of 75 targets on the first day, Ibona hit 44 targets on the second day, finishing with a total of 113 hits and placing 24th.
Kang Ji-eun finished the competition in 20th place with a total of 114 hits.

Born in 1981 and aged 43 this year, Ibona is the oldest athlete in the South Korean delegation to the Paris Olympics.
