[Concall] LG Energy Solution "Ochang 4680 Battery Mass Production by End of Q3... Negotiating with Clients"
On the 25th, LG Energy Solution stated during its Q2 earnings conference call that "the preparation for the new 4680 line (46mm diameter, 80mm length) at the Ochang plant is in the final stages" and "mass production is planned to proceed smoothly within the second half of the year."
They added, "Internally, we tried to advance the mass production schedule as much as possible, but due to internal maintenance and schedule coordination with customers, mass production is expected to start as originally planned between late Q3 and early Q4," and "we are currently negotiating supply of the 46 series with various specifications, including 4680, to a variety of customers beyond those already secured." They also mentioned, "The Arizona site currently under expansion is expected to supply after 2026."
