[Concall] SK Hynix "Q2 Inventory Asset Valuation Loss Allowance Reversal of 300 Billion KRW"
On the 25th, SK Hynix stated during the Q2 earnings conference call that "the company's DRAM sales volume in the second quarter exceeded guidance, and the sales volumes of DRAM and NAND continued to surpass production volumes," adding that "the level of finished goods inventory at the end of Q2 decreased compared to the end of the previous quarter."
They continued, "The upward trend in DRAM and NAND prices also continued, resulting in a reversal of approximately 300 billion KRW in inventory valuation loss provisions in Q2," and explained, "While there is a possibility of additional inventory valuation losses being recorded, since a significant portion has already been reversed, we expect that further reversals will not be substantial."
