Seoul Riot Police Receive CU Discounts... 'Uniformed Police Respect Agreement' with BGF Retail
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 24th that it has signed a business agreement with BGF Retail, which operates the convenience store CU, to promote a culture of respect for uniformed police officers.
According to the agreement made at BGF Retail's headquarters in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, BGF Retail will post content introducing and supporting uniformed police officers at its more than 18,000 stores nationwide, and provide benefits allowing about 5,000 mobile police officers affiliated with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to purchase ready-to-eat meals and beverages at discounted prices at stores in Seoul.
The discount benefits are expected to be applied from the end of next month, but the discount rate has not yet been determined.
