Accident Prevention Activities Conducted in Preparation for Typhoon at Mokpo Bukhang and Coastal Passenger Terminal
Kim Inchang, Commissioner of the Seohae Regional Coast Guard, recently emphasized safety measures through an on-site inspection of security in preparation for the approaching typhoon.
According to the Seohae Coast Guard on the 22nd, Commissioner Kim visited a small cargo port and a coastal passenger terminal on the 20th to prevent maritime accidents caused by heavy summer rains and the approaching typhoon, and to inspect on-site safety.

First, Commissioner Kim thoroughly inspected the safety conditions of moored fishing vessels at the small cargo port. He focused on preventing maritime accidents by checking the safety status of the vessels docked there.
At the coastal passenger terminal located in Dongmyeong Port, he carefully checked the emergency contact network system and the condition of safety facilities.
Following this, Commissioner Kim visited the Coast Guard’s exclusive pier to inspect the status of maintaining an emergency response posture.
Commissioner Kim Inchang stated, “We will minimize maritime accidents through proactive preventive activities and protect the safety of the public,” and urged, “Please do your best in proactive prevention efforts to ensure that no damage occurs due to typhoons and heavy rains.”
