Gijang County Launches Home Medical Benefits Program in Partnership with Local Hospitals
Business Agreement Signed with Gijang Hospital and Jeonggwan Ilsin Christian Hospital
Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jongbok) announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with local medical institutions, Gijang Hospital (Director Heo Seonggeun) and Jeonggwan Ilsin Christian Hospital (Director Kwon Gitaek), to smoothly promote the Home-based Medical Assistance Program.
The Home-based Medical Assistance Program is a project that enables long-term hospitalized medical benefit recipients to live stably and without inconvenience after discharge by providing necessary services such as medical care, nursing, meals, and transportation at home.
The agreement, held on the 16th, was promoted in line with the full-scale implementation of the Home-based Medical Assistance Program in July.
According to the agreement, Gijang Hospital and Jeonggwan Ilsin Christian Hospital will provide integrated medical services to recipients, including ▲establishing care plans according to diseases ▲supporting customized medical services ▲regular counseling and monitoring.

Jeong Jongbok, Governor of Gijang-gun, said, "I would like to thank our partner medical institutions for their active cooperation in promoting the Home-based Medical Assistance Program," and promised, "We will actively support long-term hospitalized medical benefit recipients to return to the community as soon as possible and lead healthy lives."
