Samsung Securities, 'Up to $100 Payment' First Overseas Stock Trading Event
Event Running Until July 31
Samsung Securities announced on the 17th that it is holding an event until July 31st, offering up to $100 to customers who have no prior experience trading overseas stocks.
This event targets customers who have not traded overseas stocks with Samsung Securities from January 1, 2020, to June 30, 2024. If there were no overseas stock trades during this period, customers will receive an immediate $5 investment support fund upon applying for the event. Additionally, based on the amount of overseas stock online trading from the application date until August 30, additional trading support funds will be provided: $10 for trading amounts over 1 million KRW, $20 for over 10 million KRW, $30 for over 100 million KRW, and $35 for over 200 million KRW. Participants can receive up to $100 in total.
The trading support funds received upon meeting each tier can be used to purchase U.S. stocks until September 27, 2024. Any unused support funds not used to purchase U.S. stocks will be automatically reclaimed on September 30, 2024.
Meanwhile, Samsung Securities is also running an event offering up to 1.8 million KRW to customers who replace their domestic stocks from other companies with Samsung Securities. Rewards are given based on the net inflow amount and trading volume of domestic stocks during the event period.
To participate in the event, customers must apply during the event period via the Samsung Securities website or the mobile app 'mPOP.'
