Research group members Kim Haewon and Kim Gwanyong, who attended the international seminar, shared the results of their overseas study tour and engaged in active discussions to present related policy status and directions with other local governments.
Councilor Kim Haewon said, “The odor problem caused by livestock manure is not limited to Naju but is a common challenge for cities and counties throughout the province,” adding, “Through the activities of the RE100 Energy Self-Reliant Village research group, I hope that active exchanges with other local governments will continue, enabling Naju City and Jeollanam-do to take the lead in livestock manure resource utilization and bioenergy technology development.”
