Top 3 Mobile Carriers Offer Up to 245,000 KRW Official Subsidy for New Galaxy Foldable Phones
Pre-sale Opening Date Finally Confirmed Around the 19th
The three mobile carriers set official subsidies of up to 245,000 KRW for Samsung Electronics' new foldable phones, which began pre-sales on the 12th.
The official subsidies for the 'Galaxy Z Flip6' and 'Galaxy Z Fold6' are as follows by carrier: SK Telecom offers 80,000 to 245,000 KRW, KT offers 60,000 to 240,000 KRW, and LG Uplus offers 66,000 to 230,000 KRW.
Accordingly, additional subsidies provided by retailers, which are 15% of the official subsidies, are expected to be up to 36,750 KRW.
SK Telecom set the official subsidies for the Galaxy Watch7 and Ultra at 200,000 KRW for the Watch7 and 300,000 KRW for the Watch Ultra, uniformly across all plans.
However, these subsidies are subject to change and will be finalized around the pre-sale activation date on the 19th.
The Z Fold6, released in Silver Shadow, Pink, and Navy colors, has retail prices of 2,229,700 KRW, 2,388,100 KRW, and 2,704,900 KRW for the 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB models, respectively.
The Z Flip6, released in Blue, Silver Shadow, Yellow, and Mint colors, comes in 256GB and 512GB models, priced at 1,485,000 KRW and 1,643,400 KRW, respectively.
