The Naval Logistics Command Maintenance Depot donated 1,510,000 KRW in charitable funds to Changwon Special City, Gyeongsangnam-do, on the 11th.

View original imageThe donated funds were collected by civilian employees and military personnel working at the Naval Logistics Command Maintenance Depot in celebration of Family Month in May. The money, gathered through small contributions, will be used to help neighbors in need via the Hope Dream Changwon Bank, a dedicated donation account for Changwon City.
Song Kwonhun, Director (representative civilian employee of the Maintenance Depot), said, "We are pleased to participate in such a meaningful cause with the funds collected through the united efforts of our civilian employees and military personnel. We will continue to strive to be a Navy that always stands with the local community."
Seo Hogwan, Director of the Welfare, Women, and Health Bureau, said, "This donation is especially meaningful as it carries the heartfelt dedication and sacrifice of the Navy for the defense of the nation and the protection of liberal democracy. We will make sure that the funds delivered today are carefully and gratefully passed on to neighbors in need."
