The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will dispatch two general administrative officers with international capabilities to overseas educational institutions.
On the 11th, the Office announced that it will send one staff member each to France (UNESCO France Headquarters) and Singapore (AI education institution AICET) to strengthen the international competencies of general administrative officers.
At the UNESCO France Headquarters, Kim Jin-won, an administrative officer and head of the Performance Team at Gwangmyeong Education Support Office in Gyeonggi Province, will be dispatched in December to collaborate on the 'Future of Education Forum' jointly hosted by the Gyeonggi Office of Education, the Ministry of Education, and UNESCO.
While on site, Officer Kim will engage in international tasks such as ▲collaborating on future-oriented educational policy directions within the international community ▲preparing for the 'Future of Education' forum ▲and managing UNESCO headquarters' official development assistance projects.
Additionally, the Office plans to dispatch staff to collaborate on AI development and utilization with the Singapore AI Edutech institution (AICET).
Singapore's AICET is an educational institution established by the Singapore Smart Digital Government Office and the Ministry of Education, aiming for educational innovation.
Through this dispatch, mutual cooperation between the Singapore educational institution and the Gyeonggi Office of Education is expected in developing and disseminating adaptive learning systems that support teachers' teaching and learning as well as students' self-directed learning.
